The fastest route to liberty is to journey with someone with the experience to help you identify and then remove everything holding you in bondage. Past wounds, harmful messages, and even our negative self-talk keep us from living into our promised future. Second Corinthians 3:17 says, "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty." This has been my truth. Jesus did not die to increase our self-esteem. Instead, Jesus died to bring glory to the Father by redeeming people like you and me from the curse of sin and the brokenness that holds us in bondage.

 

There is no "one-size-fits-all" method for experiencing this type of liberty. Therefore, various tools, including the most biblical aspects of modern counseling, are used. We pray and remain utterly dependent on God as our only source of real-life change. 

 

We all have debris that obscures our view of God's larger purpose for us. This was true for me when the gift of this counseling was offered. God will remove or transform everything hindering you from fulfilling His great purpose for your life.
